If you find where to get one let me know. B/C I need one too. I saw one on e bay for $8.00+shipping but let it go on by. Will keep looking.
Well, I found a free repair manual. I'll keep lookin' http://arizonaexpressionz.com/elna_service_manuals.html this is for a FREE Elna service manuals

better book mark these

http://www.arizonaexpressionz.com/el...n_manuals.html this is the FREE instruction manuals
I see the Supermatic instruction manual, but not the repair manual? Am I just missing it?
it's there
Listed as what? I looked again, and again.....I do not see Supermatic.
Elna Supermatic I counted down 38
I'm looking for the Repair Manual, not the Instruction Manual. The first link was for a Repair Manual...Supermatic is not listed.
Ah I couldn't find the old green ones either but the info for the star should work for a lot of it. The motor is different but a lot of it will be very close I was bummed out too - I couldn't find anything on the Elna Automatic at all I've had to figure things out by trial and error - lots of error - I'm thinking it is somewhere between the Star and the Supermatic

I am trying to stay away from new machines, but did get a couple of "little" ones--a Kruse and Murphy HC and an extra K & M head--just in case. <GR>

More later--I'm off to pick up a lavender Necchi for someone else!!
Welcome back! I missed you on here.

Well Needlebar has great information on decals, but unless you are a member you can't access any of the information. Here is a site from 'Medlibrary" with some of the Singer decals, scroll down to the bottom.

 Hi Nancy, Ok, I admit it... I can be a little slow to catch on sometimes... 'why?' is there info about the Singer 127 and 27 on a medlibrary site? LOL, I honestly can figure it out. Help :?:
LOL! Therapy and medication?! I too would like to know!

I did a search on their site. Found guitars, pottery wheels, history of quilting, Salvador Dali, Marie Osmond, bobbins, vibrating shuttles. Yes, this is interesting! :)

You guys make me laugh! I am glad you all find it so amusing that the Singer decals and information are found on this Medlibrary site! Maybe, they found out how helpful all this old stuff is to all of us baby boomers who are on the verge of loosing our minds! I don't know why! I just enjoy what I find! I'm still laughing - maybe the Medlibrary knows we all have serious neurological problems with sewing machines!

Maybe they are waiting for the time when we no longer remember who we are so they can say I told you so. There was a time they claimed that people who did a lot of sewing on motorized sewing machines had more tendencies to be much more forgetful later in life due to the magnetic field given off from the motor? I don't have a chance since I have been on one machine or another for many many years.
