What a work of art. You are among a selct group of people who attempt and finish this quilt. I know I will never be one. I will be lucky to finish my GFG in next 10 years. Your quilt is simply beautiful. I admire you for keeping at it until it was done.

Gosh, I'm overwhelmed at the wonderful responses you guys!!!!! It was so nice to finish it and I do stare at it alot. Hard to believe I could even do it and I learned so many new (for me) techniges along the way. It's both machine and hand sewn to answer one question. I tried to match Jane's fabrics as close as possible for another question. I did count blocks, tris, plain tris, kites, scallop borders and binding Lace. I forgot to count sashings, OMG!! I'll have to do that. Thanks Lace, I thought it was off quite a bit. I didn't do separate scallop pieces like you. Ok It's 5141 total pieces. I did long sashes from side to side since I didn't use the small squares. So that cuts my pieces down too.

That is funny. I want to see it when you finish it in 2170. Don't forget to send me a photo the second it is done. Okay??
