6 oz. can tomato paste, 6 oz. water, 3 oz. red wine vinegar, 2 tbsp splenda, 1/2 tsp. onion powder, 1 tsp. salt
I was thinking the same.... not use the splenda and taste it... we really don't need sugar or sweetner in the mix for taste. :)

Try googling:
recipe catsup -sugar

You will get several recipes without sugar. Here is one site I found:

Good luck

Use Stevia, cup for cup for sugar in any recipe. It is a natural sweetener from a plant. My friend uses Agave in her recipes. I really like Stevia and haven't tried Agave.

This is a little OT but there is an artificial sweetner out there called Ideal and it is amazing. No after taste what so ever. I had not heard of it before till a friend told me about it and had me try it. You can cook with it and they also have a brown sugar version. A heads up though it can be very dangerous for any pets to eat so no sharing your sweets with them if you use it.

For those how can use the stevia good ...but wow, I did not like the taste of it.. at all.. I even have a huge bush of it growing in the herb garden.. I try all of them.. but the Agave is reported to raise blood sugars in a lot of the reports... so I have just stayed away from it.. Could be very good.. but, I like my Sweet and low in my tea.. nothing in the coffee... and i drink a lot.... and liquid splenda in my cooking..
