I had a dog eat one of my hand sewing needles. It went all the through her until the very end and I do mean the end!!! I couldn't figure out why she couldn't go potty. The vet had to remove it and she was OK.

Try to find it! Did you look in the chair you were in? Those small needle pieces can enter your blood stream if you step on it barefoot. Don't know if that is true but that is what I have been told all my 62 years.

I was hand sewing the binding on a quilt. Not difficult to pull the thread thru. The needle just SNAPPED in two in my fingers.
