I have seen them done in batiks and they are all gorgeous. I want to do one too.

You can never do anything wrong with batiks. I have never seen anything look bad with them. I say, go for it!!!

Hi, I have done a batik baby quilt which I think looked very sweet. Not a D9P but it may give you some idea of what it could look like.

This is a D9P that I did for my daughters Handbell Director as a going away gift. I think it came out really good.
