This is way to funny!!!! I do agree that this pattern is a bit difficult, it took my several days. Best thing to do with this pattern is a little bit at a time, then take a liquid break, then go back and do some more. Also do it first thing when you are fresh.

And to think some folk think us quilters are a dull group......NOT! This was too funny, but so happy you found some humor in the project.......probably had to or you would have cried. Can you tell I've been there and done that....as the saying goes?

Dear Candlelighter, I am also falling far short, not having realized that there were many set-in seams. I do not feel that I would make a good representation of this block.
Sorry

However, with that said I would love to see your creation (modeled or not- ). Two things come to mind for the pattern. The first is if your 1 inch square scale was exactly 1 inch square and the other is if you still have the paper on the back of the block. Because I like to press my seams as I go sometimes my block will start to curl because I use steam and it curls the paper alittle. Anyway if you take the paper off, starch and press it normally lays flat.
Again sorry to hear of the frustrations but I am sure that you will be "the star" of any party you go to wearing that.
Thanks again,
Sherryl
