Welcome, Shanelle, from Louisiana.
What a great baby quilt. I checked out your blog and saw more of the pics. Your hand quilting is GREAT!!
And you are one FUNNY gal!! Loved your pics of the "ice sculptures" (frozen plants!) and was that bacon you put on your
ICE CREAM???
Again, welcome, and you will be a great addition to this site. ENJOY!

Hi from Winnipeg, Canada. I've been reading this site for several months and have finally decided to join. I am relatively new to quilting having only started 3 years ago when I retired from teaching. I am loving it - both retirement and quilting.

Aw, shucks. Thank you! I don't really have any readers besides my boyfriend so my blog becomes more about entertaining myself than really conveying any useful information about anything. ;-) And I think he only reads it to be nice, since he already knows about everything I put up there... But yes, that was bacon on ice cream. It's good! I don't eat a lot of junky stuff, but when I do, I don't do it halfway.

Oh and go Saints! I'm a Colts fan (of course) but I'm cool with the Saints too. My guy was at Purdue at the same time as Drew Brees so he's a huge fan, and I end up watching them almost as often as the Colts.

You will find alot of Colts fans here (mainly fans of Peyton Manning-since he grew up here!). So for the Saints first Super Bowl, it was quite a show for us to have the Saints and Colts going head to head!
