I am a MIL and I have a girl I am teaching to quilt. She is not my DIL but she calls me MOM. She just made me a small wall hanging. I am a quilter and never would frame it.
But if the MIL isn't a quilter she probably thought that was the best way to keep dust off of it to keep it perfect for ever. Feel honored that she wants nothing to happen to it. And that she loves you enough to want to keep it in the same condition as the day you gave it to her.

Thanks for the name of the book. I love butterflies.
I have a Stack-n-Whack book. I will look for it and let you know the name of the book.
