    When I paper piece, I leave the paper on until the entire block is finished. That way there is no stretching, or easing happening. Give it a try. Use pins to get the casual bias edges to match up.

    I think that if you just square up your block and press it it will be just fine, it looks good to me, I am still working on mine, I have never done pp before so its really a chore for me but I am going to get mine finished in a few more days I hope.
