Haven't seen anything but the precuts in the Walmarts around the Twin Cities. I'll report in if I see new fabric departments!

One of the Walmart near me, Pella IA, brought back fabric too! I was thrilled to see it. The guy in the paint department heard me get all excited, he thought I was crazy.

I just saw last night that they are putting the fabric dept back at the Walmart in West Burlington, IA. A lot smaller, so we will see what they bring in.

I was in Walmart yesterday, and decided to see if they had added anything new in their craft dept or whatever they call it now. I was in front of the yarn, there was three men looking very official and talking about FABRIC, so I asked them if Walmart was ever going to bring back their fabric dept. He said they were just talking about that, and it will be back in our store in August. YEAH!!!!! I also said that we quilters have complained alot to HQ's about taking out the fabric. One gentlemen said "well we listened and it's coming back for sure".

I was at my local store this morning and they have fabric again too (SE Michigan). I asked the clerk about it and she said there were so many customer complaints that management listened to their customers. My store has a nice notions area, not as big a fabric selection as before but they have a nice little section of pre-cuts (FQ, rolls, bundles).

Still waiting on the walmart where i shop to get fabric. supposed to in august. dh and nephew both work there. dh said there was a big empty area in the middle of the store!!!!!!
