here is a sunflower shot, Cameras and I dont get along well. some of these peices are 1x1 and the center is 9 peices, each petal is either 4 or 6 lots of putsy work.

some of my corners dont line up need to work on more of those 1x1 projects to get those better

Michelle - they are beautiful.
It is so hard sometimes working with those miniature pieces - but you did fabulous. Love those sunflowers and I'm sure your partner will too.

Wow, nice sunflowers.
And here's what I got from moedeenie. Not only did she make me this wonderful sewing purse, she filled it with really useful items, including a purple thang, and mentos.
Boy I just love this swap!!

Boy how cool - great job Moedeenie. I could use one of those.
We will miss you next month, but look forward to you rejoining us in the future.

WoW! I'm not sure my fat fingers could work with 1x1 pieces. I have hard enough time working with 2.5" pieces. It looks great!

I LOVE that purple. Oh gosh! Did I *really* say that? I'm not known as a purple lover but that is great. Speaking of great....what a great idea to do a sewing purse and fill it up. Well done!

Thanks girls! I received this pattern as part of a recent quilt shop hop. The pattern is called "Travel Case" by P3 Designs at www.P3designs.com, item # P3-116. This fabric is one of my favorites which I had been saving to make something special, and Lindyline was the special someone! In checking my stash, this fabric was perfect as it included all of her favorite colors: purple, pink, mint green and burgandy and I was able to stay within the $15 budget limit by shopping when quilting/sewing notions were on sale. Out of curiosity, is the orange sticker on the sewing needles from customs? I am new to international shipping so wonder if particular items will trigger a more invasive search. I, too love this swap and I will always treasure the lovely Australian themed handbag and coin purse that Lindyline made for me! I will follow the June in the New Year to see all the wonderful items everyone exchanges and I look forward to resuming this swap for the July in the New Year and subsequent months! Thanks again!

Stippleing queen, I dropped your package at the post office today. I forgot to take a pic of it before sealing the envelope. Hope you like it. It should arrive Friday or Saturday so the post office says.
