no, says file is .xlsx, my excel only recognizes .xls

Sorry, cannot open an excel file. It's a Microsoft spreadsheet program and to open it the recipient has to have the application to open it.

On the other hand, most people can open a pdf file.

I opened it in Excel and saved it as a pdf so it may work for most folks now. (if my attachment works)

You need Microsoft Excel to open this site. I had no problem. Very pretty. Patchwork with squares to make a heart, bordered by patchwork squares.

It opened my EXCEL. I am retired and do not use these types of business programs anymore. It was doing something but I quit.
