My mom has me on the lookout for the chenille bedspreads. She uses them in summer when quilts are too warm to use.. We found a few really nice ones.. I found her a Queen size for $4 at a garage sale.. White with colored chenille roses..

I've had several over the years. We used to get them with Green Stamps. (remember those?) I too had a chenille robe that I wore thread bare, just loved to curl up in the big floppy thing.

I can remember chenille robes but grandmother always had Martha Washington hobnail bedspreads and they were cream colored. The designs were beautiful. I still have one of her twin spreads it's a George Washington design. Never had a chenille though.

Yep, I love them! I don't have enough beds for all of them but I keep my eye out for them at every garage or estate sale. I would love to find the one with peacock!

Yes. Have them and love them, especially in the summer with Egyptian cotton sheets....so cool and refreshing!

Just saw a quilt with chenille squares in it at one of our local shops, it looked really neat.
