hotmail scam ??? not sure

Do Not reply. no legitimate email from a free email source would ask for that kind of info. really doubt you would loose your account if you don't subscribe, but i have seen where a persons account was taken over by an illegitimate source and used to send spam. led to many difficulties. instead contact hotmail directly rather than respond to email also let them know that you received this and who sent if the info is included. good luck. :?:

I have returned several of these to hotmail to see if they are valid. They are not from a current or valid email address and are to always be ignored.

Yes I got that one about 6 months ago and did not do a thing about it. My thought was If "they" contacted me then "they" must know my account is active and if "they" would just look at all the activity that goes on with my account "they" would not be sending be this "letter". I believe I sent it to the scam link on Hotmail, too.
So many dishonest people out there anymore. :-(

Thank you all so much for your input, well its been 24 hrs. and my hotmail is alive and well,LOL and I did report it, and changed my password..... have a great evening..
