That is quite a story!
I like quilts with a story ... and, you did a fine job on your first free motion endeavor. Nowhere to go but up for you, I see!
Good going!

I like your quilt! Who is it for and where will it be displayed?

u are all really nice, i didnt think i could have received so many positive comments  .

i tell u the truth: i would like to have some critics too, i am here to share with you all my joy when i make patch but also to learn. i can see by myself that the free motion is not that good.
i should make a lot of practice with a piece of fabric and the batting under it.
may i have advice from u?

and to quiltwithdogs: i think this is for my home, but i dont understand where should i dislplay it

hugs
francesca

Francesca, I LOVE your interpretation of the quilt and you are going to be excellent at free motion quilting and patchwork if this is anything to judge by!!

Please can you take some extra pictures of the quilt at close up to the stitching so we can see more details, Graci Mille!! :D :D :D

I have seen this quilt done in with black cats and I like yours better. I love your little story to go along with it. Very nicely done.

here u can see the holes where the free motion is not equally stitched, not balanced i mean.
and u can also see my efforts in making round shapes, is not easy, i made a lot of straight lines.
i had a lot of fun doing this, couldnt stop stitching  but the result is what it is.
do u think that with more practice ones learns to stitch real round swirls?

and i have another question: when u stitch with free motion, u never, hard to explain, u never finish a stitch, close a stitch, must be a continuous line?
or you can close, for example a swirl, and then start again wherever u want?
thanks a lot
hugs
