She’s made quilts for several of us in the family (and I don’t think any of them have fish on them), but she’s first and foremost, a “Fisherwoman”.

I’m wondering how many other lady quilters on here enjoy fishing as much as quilting?

i LOVE fISHING!!! In fact, our anniversary last week, we went to the lake with friends and fished all day... very relaxing and fun to spend the time together...
I also love my quilting and spend lots of time in my sewing room....

You must be a Mainer? My grandparents had a summer antique barn in Lincolnville Beach. We knew a lobster fisherman up there -- good friends with my Grandfather.
My father did work out of Glouster (spelling?) MA, but mainly out of central NJ.

count me in. We live on a houseboat 2-3 days a week, and at the house the rest of the time. I have a mini work station on the houseboat,,I can cut out blocks, do hand sewing, decide on patterns to make next. At home,, my machine is purring, and usually can go right to work, since I have blocks cut and ready. The best hobbies. Fishing and quilting.

You are so cute. I agree with you. We spent many years fishing and as the boys got older and stopped going with us, my interest waned. We don't fish any more, had some happy memories of when we did, but I wouldn't like to see them hurt now. My fish now comes fileted and frozen!!! :)
