I keep a box with leftover binding and when I do a scrap quilt, I have scrap binding, too. It's a great way to use up the leftovers...

Agree. I roll them up by color, save them and they are ready for a future creation either piecing or binding.

I just cut all binding at 2.5 inches and use leftovers for service quilts.

I save all left over binding strips; here is One of two jars I use to store them in.

Save and make a scrap binding cuts your work in half.

I have been practicing free motion feathers on squares with padding for potholders/hotmats. I bind the edges with extra binding strips. When in cutting mode, I always make extra. Hey, I can't throw anything away.
