    Try doing 4 1/2 cut block for cathedral windows quilt. 1 in scrap pieces fit well into the window and it can go on for ever doll blanket or table runner. I used black and also used the sample pieces from the quit magazine.

    I have not done many, but paper piecing minis really appeals to the OCD (lol) part of me. They are just so perfect!! plus, with my meager stash I get to keep sewing without using tons of fabric.

    I have made lots of mini's, but usually have a cavaet. Use only scraps. I have containers in 1/8th increments starting with 5/8" thru 1 1/4" and that is what I use for my mini's. I can't stand to throw fabric away, but don't like to cut small cuts from large pieces. I don't PP either. It puts an extra edge to my creative process!
