{ISO}Quilt Shops from Chicago to St. Louis
#52
If you 're coming down I-55 and then to I-70 and I-270, then there is a cute shop in Edwardsville, IL (The Qulited Garden, no FQs, only 1/2s) and Troy, IL (whose name escapes me) and a big one in Collinsville, IL (also name escapes me but lots of fabric and a lovely shop to look at).
Once you cross the Mississippi to the north of st. Louis in Helen's Hen House (small shop), central is Jackman's (pricey if you ask me but they can afford to carry lots of fabrics from one line so there's variety) and then The Quilted Fox (lots of international fabrics, fun to look at).
West and south, out of the city, is: Heyde's (small selection of fabric compared to other places but a different selection, I think); in Ballwin is In Stitches (great for batiks and novelties); in Eureka is SusieQQuilting (small shop but lots to look at, per yd a teensy cheaper than others).
If you get to go across the Missouri River into St. Charles, then there are more to visit!
