I bought a used Koala cabinet and now I can't get the little table that lowers and raises your to move. It has never been put down, just used as a table. Looking at it, I cannot for the life of me figure out how it works! Can someone that knows how it works that can help me get smarter? Thanks-

Congratulations on getting the Koala. I have one that I have had for several years that has a lift for the machine that raises the machine level with the leaves that fold out and if I need to close it up totally the machine goes down into the cabinet. What model did you get and did they have the instructions that came with it?

Have you gone to the Koala site? Sometimes they will help even if you bought it from someone used. There are manuals maybe there.

I so envy you. If you don't find a solution by Tuesday pm me and I'll ask my friend/owner, she sells Koala cabinets.

The model number is KCSTOR5. I looked at the Koala site (which I guess is Sewing and Craft Club) and didn't see instructions, but I will try to contact them. Maybe they will help me even if they didn't sell it. It is hard on me to be this excited at my age and not be able to play with the thing! :)

I have two Koala tables. And older model that's manual and a new one with an electric lift and remote. It would be helpful to see a picture to know what you have.

On my table you push it down and the bolt nut stops it. I've had mine for years so the current ones may be different.

I have a Koala table, not sure if yours is like mine, however this is what I do....push on the place on top of the table where your machine would sit, keep pushing until it stops.

I have an Arrow table with a lift. When machine is down inside, I reach in from the top hole, push down on the top of the machine firmly and let go. It slowly rises. Sometimes I have to do it twice cause I don't do it just right.
It is almost a bounce to the touch I have to do.
To make it go down I firmly press down on the top of the machine.

    Enjoy your table & lift!

Oh my Gosh! How easy was that! I just pushed down. Now I feel really dumb--I think I pushed and pulled everything on the table and never even thought of....pushing down. Going to go put a sack on my head (but sitting in front of my new cabinet while I do so!) Thanks for all the help, you guys are great.

I have been given a Koala sewing cabinet. I have no instructions and I read where you posted to push down on it. My question is how do you get it to raise? Mine is in the down position.
    Help please
