    brown is nice it breaks it up but i would do a dark purple or dark green. great quilt !!!!

    I agree with LindaM -- if you're going to do three, definitely use a purple instead of the brown; it will really make those stars pop!

    I agree to lose the brown. Do you have more of the darker purple? Try a small inner border of the darker purple and the the green.
