There's nothing better than fondling fabric whether it's your own or not. My stash is very small so I fondle any fabric that I can get close to.

It's a bit of a worry sometimes. :lol: :lol:

DeeCee -beautiful job!!! WOW makes me want to go back to my more subtle choices of colors [mine are very loud- I have totally gotten out of my box :roll: ]- yours are so classy - love paisley and the way you worked the embroidery in the outer hearts to look like curly stems. I had to alter mine a bit and left the longer section out of the middle of the hearts as well. I think the additional embroidery in the upper petals is wonderful!! :-)

It has taken me a while to get my first block finished, but it is done and I have now started on the next one.

Edit: the embroidery on the corners does show up better in the flesh.

Deecee, your block is BEAUTIFUL! Not only great selection of fabrics but awesome handcraft. Have you embroidery it by hand? Wow!

Your blocks look great, hope to have my Block #9 done this weekend, but now that I'm looking at yours it makes my look wimpy, your fabrics are fabulous
