I was having the same thought. I love your colors - great for a man, but still bright.

Sounds like a plan to me. He will be able to enjoy it just that much longer. BTW it is a beautiful quilt. Thanks for sharing.

I totally agree with the "Christmas in July" thought. Would be a shame to be sitting in a closet all those months when He could be enjoying it every day. I am so sorry about your father. My hubby is slowly slipping away and it is very hard to know what to do at times to help them. Our prayers and love go your way to you and your Father.

Give it to him now. Christmas is just a date on the calendar. The spirit is everyday.

You did a fantastic job and your quilt is so beautiful. Prayers going heavenward for your Dad.

I like that you may give it to him now rather in Dec. There is no doubt that he will treasure it...I think you may find a tear or two well up in his eyes when he see what a beautiful guilt you made just for him.

I just downloaded this pattern yesterday! Your quilt is beautiful and an inspiration for my next project. I just finished up a New York Beauty and am ready to do a project that does not involve paper. Thank you for sharing.
