It's not like it is suppose to be but it is my version and will have to do....I still need to trim the block down to the 12 1/2 size for it to fit with the others.....this one took me a while to figure out since I had to do the downsizing the best I could.....any way it is what it is.....:-) ....so thanks for the kind remarks....

For applique, I have found for neat edges, sew seam of fusible fabric to the right side of the fabric, sewing all the way around. Snip a slit in the fusible, pull through to reverse the piece, smoothing out the edges.
TWO ways on sewing these two pieces together... sew so the non-fusible side is RST. When you turn and iron, the fabric will be firm...OR...sew so the fusible side is RST. When you turn and iron, the fabric is attached to the square. Your choice to make here.
This way, the edges are smooth and then you can applique as you choose.

Elizabeth,
I am just now posting a picture of my May BOM. I just couldn't make four circles attractive enough, with my Christmas fabric, to use in my quilt. So I made just one circle!! :D I hope this is okay with you. Sorry, that I am so late.
