Yes, my taste does change. That's one reason why I don't have a large stash. Whenever I start a new project, I always want to go out and buy fabric specific to that project. However I have bought some beautiful fabrics upon occasion and then designed a quilt around them.

Mine change depending on the project I'm working on. I use prints and blends for piecing and mostly blends for applique. Most fabric is very usable; however, every now and again I find a piece and think "what were they thinking? Ugly fabric".

I started my quilts with solids because I was afraid of mixing the different prints, now I love the prints and hardly work with solids.

I change day by day, its what ever catches my eye when I go to the fabric store.
I am so excited my local Walmart is getting fabric again, I went there today and they were starting to fill the shelves woo hoo...

YES!!! I now have a cabinet full of fabric that I no longer care for, but just cannot part with. Maybe one day...
