I can't see paying to watch the shows. I just don't have the income that makes that something I could comfortably do. There are numerous places online to find quilting information without paying for it. Yes, I'd love to, but I have priorities, and that's just not high enough on my list.

no, I do watch the free videos on you tube and other places. I would love to have The Quilt Show. We don't have a TV so I never get to see any shows at all. I do go to QIAD and watch some of Elinor's videos too and I love seeing her toss the fabric over her shoulder :-)

And you do a great job of that, Craftybear, searching for all of us. I know I appreciate it!

No, don't have time to watch. That would take sewing time away from me.

Why pay for something when we have this quilting board.

Members are always showing us where to go for help and sending great suggestions for making our quilting life a whole lot easier......

I will stick with this board and use that membership $$$ to buy more fabric !!!!!!!!!!!

Your remark about Eleanor tossing the fabric over her shoulder reminded me of my college professor. I was so careful about making nice, neat little piles of threads and scraps to be tossed in garbage and she was constantly coming by my station and tossing them on the floor......telling me that it took less time to sweep up or vacuum afterwards than it took to be neat. After a couple semesters she finally had me trained - much to my DH's dismay. LOL

I have cable through Direct TV and get the BYU channel. My DH programs the Fons and Porter program to save and then I have a pile of them to watch. They are only 30 min and I have picked up some new techniques. I love the tutorials on QB and that gives me enough inspiration to move forward - also magazines and books that catch my eye. But my biggest challenge is the energy to start a new project. I have nerve pain in my right arm so have to wait for the anti-inflamitories to work. It may be another month unless my daughter helps me. Now that could work.
