Yes - Josie barks and growls in her sleep. She does it when she is having dreams, and sometimes her little feet are going 500 miles per hour, too. She also growls and/or barks if someone moves or rolls over too close to her. You would think a king size bed would be enough room for both of us and a 5 pound dog, but it is not so. I keep telling her that it is our bed, and we are sharing with her, but she still thinks it is her bed and she is sharing with us.
Don't you just love them!!!!!

Yorkie, named Booger Bear, and Pomeranian, named Gucci, both snore quietly. They sleep with me and occasionally they get so loud I have to turn them over. froggyintexas

Both my dog and my cat growl, run, snort, bark or meow in their sleep! It is funny to watch. They don't do this at the same time, so one thinks the other is growling at them! Then the awake one has to investigate the asleep one to know why it is growling only to wake that one up and cause it bark or meow/hiss. too funny!

My Ladybug looks just like your Alex and she does the same thing. She only weighs 14 lbs but she snores and snorts so loud our Great Pyrenees will get up and move into the other room. I thought it was because she is a rescue and had a hard 7 years before we got her.

My Akita - Gypsy - snores, barks, runs and toots in her sleep. Hubby and I get quite a chuckle out of her every now and then.

The younger (smaller) of our two dogs makes all kinds of noises in his sleep..whines, growls, barks a little. No real snoring, thankfully. He was a rescue and we know a little of what he went through, but we hope he's having fun dreams instead of nightmares!

Anita

Nope, not a two-headed dog...just a small pile of weiner dogs

My Great Dane runs in his sleep, but does not snore. My Boston Terrier snores and often makes enough noise that the other dogs look at her to see if she is OK.
Take care.

We have a beagle (Bandit) and he snores so loud in my DD's room next to mine that he has woken me up! Also, he thinks he is a cat and likes to sleep on the top of the couch and when he starts snoring, i have to wake him up and kick him out of the room or I can't hear the TV!
