I think you were wise to go share your vacation with your husband with both of you doing what you love to do! You could be near each other, yet, both be happy with your activities! You did mention that you did some sight seeing, too. So, 'nuff said.

I definitely understand! Whenever we can, we get a two bedroom timeshare for our vacations. I always take a sewing machine and tons of projects. I set up the second bedroom as my sewing room. My non-quilting friends are always puzzled by the fact that I take my sewing machine on vacation with me.

Sounds perfect. Happy for you both. That's the sot of holiday my husband and I have. He goes fishing ( i go with him sometimes) then I quilt, sew or coss stitch.

That is a wonderful way to spend a vacation!!! my friends and family say the same things!!! we go, I sew he fishes, we are both happy, what better vacation can you have??!!!!
