I think I've tried them all but I always go back to Fons and Porter.

Looks like there is something for everyone. I also miss "The Foundation Piecer" and guard my issues very carefully. I let all of my subscriptions expire many years ago. They were all getting too "same old, same old" and there is so much free on the internet. I do have all of my old issues (Am P & Q from the very first issue, McCalls, Traditional Quilter, etc.) sorted and look through them every so often.

Thank you ladies for your input. I'm a brand new quilter and find this website very informative.

I agree with you and would like to add Quiltmaker. Fons and porter is just a catlog you pay for.

I love the American Patchwork & Quilting. Everytime I look at it I see more quilts in my comfort zone and color taste.

Would you happen to have the June 1987 copy of Quilters Newsletter Magazine? I want to make the Blubird Carousel quilt which is a 3-part series for my Mom. I have parts 1 & 2 but not part 3. Part 3 is the borders, so I might be able to "wing it", but prefer not to because knowing me, I'd get that far and ruin the whole thing.
