    Hmmm...I'm leaning toward the purple middle, though I also like how it looks with the purple on the outside. Can we have another go with it sitting atop the background fabric? I think it would make a big difference depending on what color it is.

    I like them both but it depends on which color you want to emphasize and what the background color is going to be.

    I agree with the pink. It open up the star and makes it looks like it is unfurling. The purple closes the star and you see only the middle.
