DEFINATELY the black border! no question. Gives it a finished look. Holds it all together.............

I like the black. To me it pops out the rest of the quilt, great colors by the way.

The black makes the colors pop, SOOO, I would suggest using the black like in your first photo AND then using black again as the final binding. It would accent, like a picture frame.

I like the black border, makes the inner quilt stand out and not run into the large purple border

It looks like you have decided on your border selection, so I won't advise. But I do want to say the quilt is so very pretty! Those bright colors just sing!
