I also have that problem and worse use to work good here until they divided with AT&T who does not share their towers and since we are in such a rural area not one of them cares about our service they go where the money is however from home I use skype it works very good and is realle in inexpensive there are several ways to go with your computer for a home phone might also check phone company for vontel very reasonably priced

I live in Ohio and haven't had any problems. I have had Verizon service for 6 years and have been happy with it. I find very few dead zones here. My contract is up and there are other services that are cheaper but not as reliable. My only complaint is that there are hardly any phones they have that you can use without a data plan. We have 5 phones in the family and with a data plan it would cost about $300/ month. Just not in my budget. I don;t need a data plan.

I live in Ohio as well and am experiencing the same thing. Have had Verizon for over 15 years and could place and receive calls from anywhere with no problem until just recently. Some voicemail I don't receive for sometimes 2-3 days. Noone here offering any explanations.

yes I am having trouble with mine too. Live in Omaha and attributed it to all the floods and stuff for a while, but that is over. Sometimes I don't get any calls in a day which is highly unusual for me. My BFF and I have been playing telephone tag for weeks now, both have verison here. Have tried calling her and it rings goes to voice mail and she never gets it. Same on my end.

are you keeping up with updating your roaming facilities ? On my verizon it is star 228 and it will update and tell you when it is done. Hope this helps.

I had verizon, and as soon as the time was up I quit. Went to another phone co. Terrible service.
