I received a very nice package today from Hobbykat1955. She sent a monogramed paperweight, which I am going to use right away! She also sent some "Go" applique shapes of butterflies, dragonflies and bees. I am making a quilt with an appliques garden from Don't look Now and they will be so perfect amoung the flowers. She sent a really cute embroidered turkey..Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It will look great in a table runner! There is a Amish Tulips quilt pattern. I have been collecting darks just for such a project. Kathy also made a lace bookmark..and sent personalized notecards for me. I wore the gardening gloves this afternoon...they are great. Thank you Kathy so much for the nice package. I love homemade things best of all.
I can't take a post a picture until my desk computer comes back from the shop. Hopefully this week!

Well, that didn't go so well. I keep the biscuits inthe drawer inthe fridge. Well when I picked them up I found out that it had opened itself. I am thinking they got to warm or something, I don't know, maybe a bad batch or packageing. So I didn't get to make it :-(

I just had to thank you for the most wonderful package!!! I will definitely will be putting all things to good use. All the Christmas fabrics are adorable!! I love the old magazines as they are ones I have not seen and will be able to get some new ideas from them. The tic tac toe pillow pattern/ruler is something I have never seen before and will have to try it out. Thank you for the gum, the xtra blades and of course the adorable pin cushion!! I saw something like it in a quilting magazine this month and thought I would I like to try the pattern. this will help me incredibly as a sample while making it. I almost forgot about the tote bag you sent as well. Will try to post a picture later.

My squishy arrived today!! Thank you dyer804 so much. I received a hand quilting book, American Quilter magazine, a marking pen, sewing machine needles, butterfly pins, 2 Big Hunk candy bars, a spool of thread, 6 pieces of fabric (pink and green!!) AND a handmade pin cushion that's pink on one side and green on the other! Made just for me!! Oh, am I a lucky girl!!

Just received a wonderful package from Tamara S. in IL...don't know your board name...THANK YOU so much for all of the goodies...She sent me a beautiful mug rug..love the colors in it; a moda charm pack,adorable pumpkin buttons, a large decorative clip, a very cool duck shaped book mark, a flower magnet and a nice, good quality seam ripper....the one I've been using is a joke...I L*O*V*E everything and will post pictures after dinner.
