OBW would work if you have enough. what I would probably do is make a giant Ohio star or Friendship star for a colorful lap quilt.

I saw a Book with Wraught Iron Gates and a Garden scene
behind it. Forget the Authers name. ??? Fonks or something like that. fell in Love with her work. I think she was from Wales. Maybe someone else has seen her work.

OBW means One Block Wonder there was a thread here about it I think.

I like it. You could also do a paperpiecing quilt. there is a lady I think her last name is Doak or something like that she has some awesome patterns. Using black as a background would really make a spectacular quilt.

Bonnie Hunter (quiltville) says if it's still ugly you haven't cut it small enough.

So I would put it in a scrap quilt and no one will notice how ugly it is.
