New York City - actual 103, almost a record for the hottest day ever. "Realfeel" was about 110. Newark, NJ, a few miles from us, the hottest day in the city's recorded history, 108 actual. I don't know the realfeel and don't want to know. It's been brutal. We stayed in all day. We're kind of in the middle so either temperature applies to my town.

Dear we've had 47 straight days of over 100 with an average between 105 and 110 each day. Before daylight this morning about 6:00 a.m. it was 82 here Night before last at midnight it was still 90 degrees. We don't advertise our heat here, too afraid to, word might get out and no one (tourist) traveling would ever stop here, not that a lot do anyway.

Our heat index was 101. 97 real heat here in New Philadelphia, Pa. Did't do a darn thing today. Expecting rain Sunday. Can't wait. Everything is turning brown.
I like the winter. I'm not a heat person. Got my fill living in Arizona. Everyone try and stay cool.

Hard to believe that it's warmer here in MI than in TX! I can't remember the last time we had such a long stretch of this humid, hot heat. TG for C/A!

But remember that we don't get this kind of heat for days on end so we suffer doubly when it does happen! LOL Besides, you get the last laugh when it's -30 here in the winter. :)
