I have struggled with copyright interpretation for years...it never occurred to me to go to the designers website and ask questions...thanks for helping me out with this!! I love making quilted items for our bazzars and haven't done it in a while just because of copyright!! In May I paid $50 for a purse for my sister. It was from a shop and not a bow-tuck but I thought the price was fair.

Yes I wonder if I could even make a small bow tuck for $12 -$15. Fabric is $8 to $15 a yd and iron on fleece is $7.99 a yd at Joan's

I made one for myself and then I made one for my cousins 50th birthday.
I could have gotten lots of orders and still can she says but don't think they will sell for the price I would have to charge. I prefer to sew for fun not deadline also. Ihave seen designer bags not as nice going for $70.

I think $15 &20 is an insult and a rip off to you. They are lots of work.
Go with your pricing and see what happens. You can always sell them on eBay or etsy.

From one who did the craft show market long ago I think the price is reasonable. However, I always found that anything over $10.00 took more time to sell. You can usually use scraps to make smaller things that sell for less $ and are more of an impulse buy.

Yes, and that is more than fair. Those are not simple or quick to make. When someone sells for less than an appropriate amount, it hurts everyone who is trying to sell handmade items. They are also a unique item, and people should value that aspect of hand made items!!!!! The people who I have given my bags to say that they are stopped continually and complimented on the bags.
