Do you have a used furniture store in your area? They have some great buys. You might try a "drafter's chair".

I have a saddle stool that came with my longarm. If you are not use to sitting in one use it a little at a time. its like anything else you have to get use to it. I horse back rode and therefore it never bothered me to use it.

I find all this very interesting because I got my long arm in April. I can't imagine using it sitting down. I got a chefs mat for the floor to stand on and works great. I have a bad hip and find sitting painful for long periods of time. I like the flexibilty of standing and not having to think about moving a stool too. And I would NEVER spend the several hundred dollars some of those cost.

My friend got hers from Sam's online. Comes in different colors and we love 'em. They have backs on them though and no cushion, but still love it.

If you have one near you try Harbor Freight for the wheels used to have good prices on wheels.
