Mix your white-on-white backgrounds, and mix your red, white, and black fabrics. You can keep using the black for the sashing, but can mix and match the borders. End result is a scrappy dresden plate quilt. You could even alternate the dresden plate that you did with one having the rounded outer edges - which would give you practice doing curves. Keep us posted and let us see the end results.

Definetly make more for a quilt! Different colours for each block, and you'd have a fabulous quilt! And this block could be a co-ordinating pillow! Great job! I'm working on one in brights and yellows!!! Keep going on and make more!

It's beautiful! I love scrappy; so, whatever you want to do would be good. I know the original Dresden Plates were all done scrappy, I think.
