when you watch old shows-like Little House on the Prairie and she buys 2 yards of fabric and is able to make herself a blouse, each daughter a dress (3) and have some fabric left over for a quilt on the bed later and you say "Oh that's not right. she couldn't get that block out of her scraps for that quilt!

You get a birthday card and see a quilt design in the picture on the front.

I want to go to a Quilt Store every week! It doesn't matter how big my stash is - I ALWAYS need more. Plus I get great ideas at the stores!

You stare at the church windows and wonder if you can make a design like that.

When you're sitting behind Father Gene at the 7am Mass on Sunday and you're thinking, "wow, I love the colors of and the quilt pattern on his garments, will I remember the pattern should I take out a pen and note and sketch it so I won't forget it?". All this in my head during the readings!
I look down to my knees and I notice quilting threads hanging on to my Sunday best clothes! Shame on me!

I don't feel like my day is complete without spending time reading the Quilter's Message Board and browsing through at least one quilting magazine.

It is not only quilts, you look at purses and figure out how you can make them, just about all you think about is your sewing room, corner or whatever. You even look at furniture and think about what you could store in it.

Your friend posts a picture of a purse that she made on Facebook and you recognize the fabric designer.
