I would definitely just move on. I recently did a block in my Stitcher's Garden quilt on the wrong side of the background fabric and I swear even I can't find it without really looking!

Yes, alternate the blocks - their beauty will surpass the background.

Happened to me with one quilt too. Don't redo it!

If you like them, leave them. As they say, "Finished is better than perfect any day."

Be sure when you do the layout that the "wrong" blocks are spaced evenly between the "right" blocks so it will look like it was planned : )

People are going to look at the applique and not the background fabric. Leave it.

I would keep it as is....I've purposely used the wrong side of fabrics at times! I'm sure it's beautiful!

I did that on my very first quilt top I ever pieced. That was in 2003 and I finally just sandwiched it and quilted it. That block I call my 'humility' block. When I quilted it, it made it even harder to see the difference. Mine is a white tone-on-tone and is a snowball block. So I say "finish it" and go on to something else.
