We had 6 inches of rain last night, a foot of water on our street. One time we had 3 feet on the street. Our house is on the hill so we don't have to worry. A lot of bridges washed and high ways were shut. Husband couldn't go to work today. 40 miles south of us had 13 inches. All this goes into the Mississippi River.

I just about can make Barbie clothes with my eyes shut. A few years ago I made 150 outfits for our country store at the church picnic. I also did about 12 of each pattern and the same fabric. It go faster. Then I gave some to my little friends. Husband mad wood Barbie beds; single and bunk beds to give away to neighbor's kids. I made my first paper piecing quilts for those beds. My neighbor was more excited than the kids. I made matteress's, bedding and pillows with cases. I need to get scanning pictures for own here. I have made a lot of Barbie furniture out of plastic canvas.
