i need to weigh myself today to start. will get a ticker. back to fitness USA tomorrow morning..(i use the pool)
i plan on tossing some chicken breasts in the crockpot with a little bit of broth and onion. that way i will have protein/dinners or chicken for salads ready to eat. it is so tender coming out of the crock pot.

For all of us that are lingering on a plateau or even peddling a little backwards:

Look at where you are today. Now look back a year ago. For myself, I am 40 pounds less. I wish it were more, but it's not. However, these weight changes have positively affected my health and disposition.

You have the same situation. Look at your entire year, not just one month, one week, or one day. What we are attempting is a lifestyle change. It takes time, energy and perseverance. We are eating the elephant one bite at a time.

Journal: Over the last month I had disappointments in my weight loss activities. Where was my focus instead? What do I need to change to have a more successful August?

Count me in. I need something to get me back on track. I did July and only lost 1 pound. I guess that is better than up.

I'm in. Just haven't been able to get motivated and hungry all the time. There's also the slight matter of milkshakes at least once a week.
