If you can't get them all finished before moving time donate them unfinished. There are organizations all over that will finish them and then donate them.

Someone here on the board or someone you might know probably needs quilting practice. Give them to those people first so they can hone their skills, then donate them to any of the worthy causes mentioned above. Who knows, once they're quilted, you may fall in love with them again!

All the suggestions are great, living in a cold Winter state, I always think about house fires too. We saw a friend watch every thing he owned burn up. We gave cash that night so he could buy a new set of cloths. Other donations later.

We have a couple of hospice groups that take donations and will finish and give the quilts...you may have such groups in your town. Our guild also has a Country Store every year at our quilt show to sell UFO's.

Donate them to a quilting guild in your area if you do not want to finish them and they will usually finish them and donate them. Our guild does this whenever we get a donation of quilting material and unfinished quilts. It makes us feel so good to know we are making something someone else will be able to use.

Hooray for you, at least you are attempting to finish, yours, mine are still ,"put away".
I would finish them and then you might give them to charity, friends, or family. Someone always needs a quilt and color or design do not matter, as long as they have something to cover themselves with. Good Luck.

I would donate them to an organization like "Ronald McDonald House" or similar program for hospitalized children, a local hospice, local fire or police dept., I'm sure they would all welcome your donations.

I agree. I've had my OES group donate to the local Homeless Shelter and also the Women's Shelter.

Our local police department welcome donations such as this to take to accident sites, when children are removed from homes and I am sure many other instances.
