I would put a light border on and then a dark binding.

but I gotta tell you I think it is just gorgeous! He is going to love it. I might copy that for my sons! It is so rich and beautiful ~ Pat

I love those Hoffman fabrics. I made a quilt for our bedroom using the same ones and bordered it in black.

I would use the gold for a border and the brown print for binding. I love the colors.

Hi,

I will add another close up picture of just the 4 patch block. It is actually a very pale mottled yellow. I am thinking that the mottled yellow would make a very pretty border for it, and then use a dark binding.

I'd use the white (off-white?) for a small inner border and one of the darker prints for a larger border, then bind with the gold.
