I used to make chemo caps but my neighbor was always in need of one to give. I would let her take one until I saw it on her head.

Wow, that is sad that you have such negative responses when doing such a wonderful thing. I am the founder of a community quilt project. We have made hundreds of charity quilts. Anyone that inquires about our efforts have always been so kind and supportive. God has truly blessed our ministry. Blessings to you and all you do!

I have had comments like: "Why would anyone want to make a quilt for some one when you can go buy a "nice" comforter for $30". "Why do you waste your time cuz it is not for your kid or someone you know".

I makes me truly sad that people can be so clueless.
