this pattern is so much fun and so easy. I read somewhere that if you use the darkest color (of the three- stipe block) as your middle stripe, your blocks will seem 3D. Can't wait to do another one.

I made a quilt for my son (guitars, music notes, etc) and wanted the black and red dominant so I put the beige stripe in the middle and the red and black stripes on either side. I looked nice, but I wish I had put the black in the middle.

I've made two quilts from the WW pattern and I plan to make at least one more for my mother. I love this pattern.

It is such a versatile pattern. I made one with my 4 patch posie squares as the focus fabric. I'm thinking that maybe a scrappy strip square might work also.

The pattern will really show off a beautiful fabric design. Thanks so much!

I have a question about copyrights. I know the
Warm Wishes pattern is available from the Linus group, and on line. Everyone seems to be making them, including me. But are we free to download, print, and distribute the pattern to our charity sewing group? This question includes all 'free' patterns from magazinesl, that are or were originally copyrighted, but now available on the net. Would like some knowledable input on this. Thanks. I do strictly charity,& Quilts of Valor, using ideas from posted photos. Many are simple strip or string quilt ideas that anyone can look at and graph out. How strict are thses guidelines? Do we need to contact each designer personally? What are your feelings on this subject? :?:
