help..need some advice

Well been working on the quilt for the last two days. I did very fine stiple in the beige areas. Next I am doing feathers in each color. Still thinking of what to do in the outside borders and the inner star. I think the star should really be the focal point. Going to pull out some of my quilting books to look for inspirations. I will post pictures as soon as I am done.

I have the same pattern; I recently bought several pieces of fabric from the Stonehenge line from Northcott. I don't usually like a whole lot of quilting so I'm very anxious to see what you decide to do. Love the blue, it looks beautiful. Great job! Look forward to seeing it finished.

Ok, let me first state, I am not a photographer. The pictures really don't do the quilt justice. With that said, the quilt turned out great. I ended up doing stipling in the beige areas and then did feathers each round. The outside border, I had a stencil that was loops and a heart design. Thanks to everyone that gave me ideas.
I made this quilt for my nephew and his bride. This is the only nephew on my side of the family. This is my sister's only son, so the quilt had to be special. I loved this pattern and enjoyed putting it together. It was almost like putting a puzzle. You really had to keep focused on what you were doing. Ok, with this done, off to the next......
