I have a BA in Psychology but I think my higher, and long, education in life or "the school of hard knocks" has served me just as well.

I have an AS in Business. a BA in Public Administration. I have worked in housing (FEMA, Housing Authority) and as a staff member of County Fire Rescue as a supervisor and instructor before I had to take medical retirement. Now I sew, sew, sew.

I went to the University for one year then got married and had 6 kids. All that while, for 26 years, I took college classes where ever we were stationed (DH in Air Force 29 years). I finally got a BA in History, then an MA in American History and American Decorative Arts, then a MLS in Library Science when I was 52 years old. I don't take academic classes anymore, I'm 76, but DH and I go to Elderhostel programs every year. We are just plain life-long learners. Never too old to learn.

Congratulations to Jennifer and all the you.

Hard Knocks; Early Childhood Edu.; Business Management.

I started after my fifth child was born and was 8 months old. The oldest was seven.

I really liked school but had financial problems before I married (family was poor). My last class was when I was I was 55. I now want to quilt more than I want to go to school. So...Here I am.
I have to change my age as I just turned 70.

I have an Associate in Science of Nursing. I am starting back to school after 34 yrs to get my BSN. I am anxious about this endeavor but have accepted a position that requires this degree. I will have to limit my time on the computer for fun but I don't plan on giving up this board. I have learned so much from all of you.
