I would not tie it as I don't like tied quilts and I have heard that babies can get toes tangled in tied quilts.

I would birth it and either SID or stitch 1/4" away from seams in each block for stability.
It's a beautiful quilt, so snuggly!

Tying is usually not done on baby quilts, because they can eat the yarn. So, I guess birth it and stitch in the ditch. Have fun. By the way, it is a beautiful quilt.
