My DH has always supported me, especially in fabric, thread, machines and all that makes me happy. He goes with me and his opinion with fabric is great. He'll even pick up notions he thinks I don't have. I am married 47 years to a Prince.

I certainly don't have to and he always makes sure we hit up a lot of quilt shops when we travel.

I don't hide anything. I think it's cute that he will go the quilt store to try and match a thread purchase, or some other thing I have going on!

Nothing hidden at my house either. My husband (in the past year) has taken me to AQS shows in Des Moines, Paducah and Knoxville. He offers to stop at every quilt stop we see as we travel, also. Just last week he drove me 200 miles one day so I could look for a quilt backing. He went in with me and participated in my search. Love that man --47th anniversary in 2 days. It's great to be married to your best friend!

You are truly fortunate and wish I could say the same as many of you do about your DHs concerning your quilting. Mine doesn't show much interest in my hobby at all. He's good in other ways so guess we're all blessed in different ways.

I always show my husband what I buy. He knows how happy quilting makes me, and he supports it 100%. In fact, this morning I loaded a queen sized quilt onto my longarm and was trying to figure out how to quilt it. I asked his opinion and loved what he suggested, so that's what I'm doing. It's for my mom ... I'll tell her it was a group effort. ;-)
